Dawn's Gleaming Light

Proverbs 4:18 The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day...

Psalm 37:5-6 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

Up before first light this morning and, as the 25 mile trip commenced, dawn appeared in its first gleaming... a beautiful sunrise... (just for me, God?)   Pinks, lavenders, and greys beautifully prismed in haloed horizon of rose, brightening slowly until, seemingly suddenly, the sun burst forth in glorious Light!

In that sunrise, Y’shua painted an illustration of sanctification unto salvation:  Were the newly saved to receive immediate full Righteousness, that Light of Righteousness would be like the Full Light of day… painfully impossible for anyone to look upon (much less be attracted to or to learn from).  Instead, imperfect moments and days become sanctified...  like glimmers of dawn… beautiful, diverse, fascinating to those who watch---even the angels! (I Pe 1:12)

As is oft the case, meditation in The Spirit quickens The Word, and brings new understanding:  When lives are offered as a "living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, in worship” (Ro 12:2), YHWH Tsidkenu mysteriously transforms the very flaws and limitations shared by all humankind, into an Allure of Hope--- a confident Expectation, so appealing! A caress of The Artist’s Brush blurs imperfection to rosy glow, beautiful to gaze upon… intriguing to watch… fascinating to those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

Herein lies a paradoxical twist of Faith:  His Grace is Sufficient... in my weakness, His Strength is made perfect… (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Ultimately, those who observe LifeSongs proclaiming His Glory, see El Shaddai, High and Lifted up.

          …amen…

A good word, Beck. You are beautiful in the light of His love. And that beauty is untarnished. It is not the beauty of the world which is presented to us in image after image, until we are so used to seeing it, we don't even notice anymore. The Lord's beauty shines forth with a glow that is unmistakable and not able to be ignored.

The Glory of Zion

1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
4 "Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar,
and your daughters are carried on the arm.
5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.
Isaiah 60:1-5

Shine on, sister, shine on!
